January 2012 Construction Complete on the Athens Medical Complex (Athens, GA) Stanmore Development is pleased to announce that construction on both Buildings 100 and 200 of the Athens Medical Complex is complete. Kaiser Permanente also received a certificate of occupancy for its 12,575 square foot suite in Building 200 in late December and will take occupancy immediately. "It is hard to believe that the Athens Medical Complex was an old Pepsi Co. bottling plant and an auto body repair shop less than a year ago," wrote David Cash, Stanmore's President, in an investor note. Today the complex is home to the leading healthcare providers in the region including Kaiser Permanente, an ASCOA managed surgery center and Georgia Neurological Surgery." Stanmore would like to extend a special thank you to the Anderson Moore Construction and Davis Stokes Collaborative teams for working together to construct Building 200 in under five months. Additional thanks go out to the design and construction teams at Kaiser Permanente and Leo Daly for working diligently with the Stanmore, Anderson Moore Construction and Davis Stokes teams to complete Kaiser's suite simultaneously with Building 200.
